What We Believe
SALVATION and BAPTISM
- Jesus is the embodiment of God Almighty (Col. 2:9; Matt. 28:18; 1 Tim 3:16)
- There is power in Jesus’ name for deliverance and salvation (Acts 4:10-12; Rom. 10:9-13; Philippians 2:9-11)
- Baptism by immersion in water in the name of Jesus (Matt. 3:6, 13-16; Acts 8:36-39)
OUTPOURING OF HOLY GHOST
Baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:1-4, 38, Acts 10:44-46)
DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST
- The New Testament Passover as exemplified by Jesus at the Last Supper is a memorial to his death (1Cor. 11:26)
- Washing the saints’ feet as part of the Passover Communion Ceremony (John 13:4-5)
- Jesus Christ shed His blood for the remission of sins (Matt. 26:28)
- Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ
OBSERVANCE OF SABBATH
The seventh day of the week is the true Biblical Sabbath. (from sundown Friday until sundown Saturday) made by God, Himself, at the time of Creation (Gen. 2:1-3)
CHRIST RETURN
- The imminent second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 24: 29-31; 1Thes 4:16-17)
- Resurrection from the dead (1Cor. 15:42-44; Rev 20:11-15)
